We recently stayed at Smile Hotel Nagoya Shinkansenguchi and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from Nagoya Station, which made getting around the city and to the airport via local train incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. They were always accommodating and attentive, promptly addressing our needs and answering any questions we had with a warm and professional demeanor. The room, while compact, was clean and well-equipped with essential amenities like free Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a small workspace. The bathroom was small but functional, with good water pressure and basic toiletries provided. For a budget-friendly stay in a central location, Smile Hotel offers good value, especially for short visits or long stays.

This is my 2nd stay in the hotel and this time I stayed for 3 nights. The room is a bit bigger than most hotel chains and there's also a coffee table plus the usual amenities. The staff were nice and the omotenashi can be felt warmly when they greet you. I love that it's close to the usual anime stores I go to like Animate, K-Books, Lashinbang, and Surugaya. I hope to be able to book and stay here again when I come back to Nagoya.

Very close to JR Nagoya Station and Meitetsu Nagoya for airport route. Also even just a few walks away from Animate, K-Books, Lashinbang & Animate Cafe buildings which I really like. Lots of restaurant, conbini, and even a supermarket nearby. The room I got is big enough and although the style and layout is dated, it still provided comfort and good night sleep.

1. Close to Nagoya station (exit 13, thru taiko dori side) I was a bit lost though since i went out from wrong exit. Look for Denny’s restaurant as reference on where to turn. 2. Friendly staff even if I do not speak Japanese, they we're able to explain how things work in English and some written instructions. 3. Clean room, they have a daily cleaning service.

Staff is very friendly. The room is large enough for 1 person, fully furnished, and cleaned daily.

Very convenient location near the train station, Mini-Stop, 7-11, Family Mart and a luggage storage facility. Hotel has a common microwave, laundry machines and vending machines.

I liked the attention given by the staff, very friendly. Location was perfect because it was very close from the train station. Beds were a little bit small, but I understand those are Japanese sizes.
